Voters are heading to the polls at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and other polling places in New York City on Saturday for the last weekend of early voting — including Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
More than 115,000 votes have been cast across the five boroughs so far during early voting, according to the New York City Board of Elections.
Nearly 50,000 votes have been cast in Manhattan, followed by Brooklyn with more than 34,000, Queens with nearly 22,000, the Bronx with more than 10,000 and Staten Island with more than 2,000.
Voters will have to make a choice in several key primary races across the city, including the races in Congressional Districts 7, 10, 12 and 13.
Mamdani voted at the Met on Saturday. Before becoming mayor, he was a resident of Astoria, but now that his address has changed to Gracie Mansion, he’s able to cast his ballot on the Upper East Side.
He has not made an endorsement in the NY-12 race to replace Rep. Jerry Nadler, but he has endorsed candidates in other races.
Even after voting, the mayor would not share who he voted for in the race for NY-12.
“I’m keeping my vote between myself and the ballot and that incredible pen the Board of Elections hands out to every voter,” Mamdani said.
Polls are open Saturday until 5 p.m. Sunday is the last day of early voting.
Polls will be closed on Monday and then reopen on Tuesday, June 23 for Election Day.
