Majestic Hospitality has appointed Lisette Acosta Álvarez as Director for Latin America and the Caribbean, as part of its plans to expand its presence across the region. The company has also entered into an affiliate partnership with LaCosta Advisors, a hotel investment advisory group focused on Latin America and the Caribbean. The partnership establishes Majestic Hospitality’s second overseas office.
In her new role, Acosta Álvarez will oversee the company’s regional expansion, manage existing business interests and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the markets. She succeeds Andrew Cohan, who is retiring.
Acosta Álvarez most recently served as Founder and Managing Director of LaCosta Advisors. The firm works with investors, hotel owners and developers on hospitality and real estate projects, providing investment advisory, strategic planning and market intelligence.
Before establishing LaCosta Advisors, Acosta Álvarez led investment attraction initiatives for a major ecotourism and luxury destination in Latin America. Her experience includes working with investors and developers to identify opportunities and advance hospitality and real estate projects.

Through the affiliate partnership, Majestic Hospitality will work with LaCosta Advisors to support its regional business development and strengthen its relationships with hotel owners, investors and developers across Latin America and the Caribbean.
