Maputo, Mozambique – As part of the Forward Air Controllers (FAC) Course, Mozambican Air Force personnel assigned to Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) units took part in another live-fire session, supported by the European Union Military Assistance Mission in Mozambique (EUMAM MOZ) through advisory support and mentoring.
The session allowed personnel to consolidate their knowledge, improve their techniques and reinforce safe weapons handling procedures, all essential aspects of operational preparation and the effective performance of their duties.
These activities provide an opportunity to put knowledge into practice, strengthening focus, discipline and confidence during the exercises. Regular live-fire sessions also help consolidate the skills developed throughout the course.
Through advisory support and mentoring, EUMAM MOZ continues to support these activities, encouraging experience sharing, cooperation and mutual trust with personnel from the Mozambican Defence Armed Forces (FADM).
This collaboration reflects the shared commitment of EUMAM MOZ and the FADM to operational preparation and continuous skills development, helping to strengthen cooperation and the partnership between the European Union and Mozambique in the field of defence.
