According to his family, the political prisoner was held at the Intelligence Department’s detention centre until July 14, at which point he was transferred to Khorramabad Central Prison, where he has remained for the past eight days.
According to reports received, Nasiri-Moghaddam is currently being held in the security ward of Khorramabad Central Prison, where 18 prisoners are currently incarcerated.
His family also told IranWire that two of his relatives were executed during the 1980s. Expressing grave concern for his safety, they have called for greater public awareness of the conditions of his detention.
