Three Palestinians, including a child, were martyred and 10 others injured as the Israel regime continued violating the ceasefire across the Gaza Strip, with attacks targeting displaced families in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis, according to local Palestinian sources.
The victims were identified as Hussam Fahri Al-Zamli, Tamer Senime and Jouri Islam Al-Soufi, a child.
Medical sources said the wounded were transferred to nearby hospitals after Israeli occupation forces opened fire and carried out drone attacks near tents sheltering displaced Palestinians in Al-Mawasi.
Displacement camp comes under attack
According to local Palestinian sources, armed groups described as collaborators infiltrated the area where displaced families were staying and opened fire on civilians.
The sources said clashes later erupted in the area, during which Israeli occupation drones dropped three smoke bombs, opened heavy fire and launched an airstrike as the armed groups withdrew. The attacks left three Palestinians martyred and 10 others wounded.
Attacks reported across Gaza
The attacks were not limited to Khan Younis.
Israeli military vehicles reportedly opened fire north of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza and northeast of Khan Younis, while artillery shelling targeted areas west of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.
Despite the ceasefire that came into effect on 10 October 2025, attacks across Gaza have continued on a near-daily basis. International media and humanitarian organizations have also reported repeated incidents involving airstrikes, shelling and gunfire during the truce period.
According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, the number of Palestinians martyred since the ceasefire took effect has risen to 1,562, while 5,573 others have been injured. The ministry added that 842 bodies have also been recovered from beneath the rubble during the same period.
Since the Israel regime launched its assault on the Gaza Strip on 7 October 2023, the overall death toll has climbed to 74,553, with 175,692 others injured, according to the ministry.(ILKHA)
